Born into a hard-working Midwestern farm family, Patty learns about loss and love at an early age. We follow her to Toronto during the Vietnam War and back home to manage the farm on her own. We watch her learn and grow the operation while she longs for and finds a family of her own. Both the land and love bring their own joys and sorrows.

After an early career in corporate journalism, Terri landed on Anna Maria Island, FL in her perfect position as "mom" of an Old Florida mom 'n' pop motel. Here, she fell in love with Florida's people, her history and culture.
She published her first novel When Not If before hurricanes pounded the Suncoast in 2024. The book is historical fiction, centering on a child born during the storm that took out Cortez in 1921. Second in the series, When Sun Sets takes us through the 2024 storms and into the rebuilding that continues today.
Terri also freelances for Bradenton magazine and for Sixty & Me, an online lifestyle magazine.
