"A book is a gift you can open again and again." - Garrison Keillor

"It's the writer's job to open the manuscript again and again and drag the book out. So far, that's the only secret I’ve found." -Terri Edmund

After an early career in corporate journalism, Terri landed on once-quaint Anna Maria Island as mom of an Old Florida mom 'n' pop motel. That's where she fell in love with the state, her people and her history.  She has published two Florida novels: When Not If and When Sun Sets, which both mix history with Stormy's adventures.

Work in progress: Working title: Rural Route Two. 43,459 words. Born into a hard-working Midwestern farm family, Patty learns about loss and love at an early age. We follow her to Toronto during the Vietnam War and back home to manage the farm on her own. We watch her learn and grow the operation while she longs for and finds a family of her own.  Both the land and love bring their own joys and sorrows.
